The Ultimate Court docket is about to play a pivotal position within the 2024 presidential election, because it weighs former President Donald Trump’s attraction to look on Colorado’s Republican presidential-primary poll. Trump may be anticipated to invite the Ultimate Court docket as early as subsequent week to overturn a federal appeals courtroom’s rejection of his immunity claims.

In the meantime, Trump’s affect at the Republican Celebration was once on show this week on Capitol Hill. The Space GOP did not win key votes, and Senate Republicans blocked a bipartisan border-security package deal that they themselves had demanded from Democrats.
